Like everybody else, I’m trying to watch the pennies at the moment, but fighting my innate instinct to spend like there’s no tomorrow takes willpower that I simply don’t posses. When I got an email this morning flaunting Markus Lupfer from £42 it very much felt like the world was conspiring to decimate my bank balance. Arrrrgh, damn you Outnet! Damn you to hell!

I figure that perhaps it might help if I vent my frustrations in a new post series – in the same way that making a to-do list always makes you feel instantly organised and efficient, even though you’ve actually achieved nothing –  so this is the first of many Weekly Temptations.
