I was seriously excited after going to the Topshop press day back in April – now the AW10 lookbook is doing the rounds and the styling is top notch. The photos really exemplify how incredible the Topshop design team is, and good news – the cable knit thigh-high socks make an appearance (!), which I’m hoping is a clear indicator that they’ll be available to buy in store soon. Feast your eyes loves…

This ridiculously gorgeous dress belongs to my friend Roxanne (oh how I wish it were mine!) – a gift from a very generous boss at her previous job.
I saw the dress hanging on the door of her wardrobe on Saturday night and couldn’t resist trying it on. Apparently it was an opera costume once upon a time, but with all the sequins and folds of tulle it looks like a modern day red carpet winner to me…

I spied lots of super-long socks at the AW10 shows – most notably at Topshop Unique with its thigh-high cable knit pairs.
I love this look – it’s way cooler than tights – but I have a horrid feeling that the TU pair were for catwalk only (and to be honest they’d probably make my legs look like little round stubby sausages anyway).
