THE SOLUTION TO FASHION BLOGGER’S MONEY PROBLEMS…

A post on Mischief My Dear sparked a bit of a discussion on Twitter this week amongst the bloggers. Titled Finance & the Fashion Blogger: Ignore-ance, it questioned how many of us have been secretly racking up hideous amounts of debt in a bid to remain stylish:

‘I’ve seen whispers from bloggers who’ve hidden from their debts and bad shopping habits, but never opened up that side with their readers.  The fact is, the need to buy, to remain stylish, to support our style, allow it to grow, change, evolve, has a price. Just how high do we let it get?’

This is a question that has plagued me for a while. Blogging is not the most financially lucrative of occupations, which is why for many it has to remain a hobby which slots in around their day job. How can we stay on top of style if we can’t afford to shop? Well, my friend Cara of These Threads has found the solution…

Mini-me paper dolls!

Cara wears whatever the hell she feels like with a little help from Photoshop.

LV, Peter Jensen, a  bit of Alexander Wang…

A genius solution no?
